Field excursion on November 9, 2018

Monitoring station Adige River – Drei Brunnen/Tre Fontane – Monitoring station Solda River

 

• 08.00: Bus leaves Bolzano/Bozen (meeting point Kolpinghaus, behind the University building)
• 08.15 – 09.15: Visit to the monitoring station on the Adige River near Bolzano
• 09.15 – 10.45: Drive up along the Vinschgau/Venosta valley and arrival in Ponte Stelvio
• 10.45 – 11.30: Visit to the monitoring station on the Solda River
• 11.45 – 12.00: Drive to the village of Trafoi
• 12.00  – 13.15: Short visit to the Drei Brunnen/Tre Fontane site (overall 40 min walk, or car ride for those who prefer not to walk)
• 13.30 – 15.00: Lunch at the restaurant “Stern” in Prato allo Stelvio/Prad am Stilfserjoch (with fixed menu, included in the participation fee)
• 15.00 – 16.30: Drive down to Bolzano/Bozen

 

 

Please bring warm clothes (elevation up to 1600 m a.s.l.) and hiking shoes!
